We are a start up company based in El Paso, TX; We have developed the best ceramic plate in history; designed as a gourmet plate, it really keeps food from getting cold. It is also ideal for mindful eating, for eating slowly -which translates into eating less- and can also be used as a WLS plate (For eating slowly after weight loss surgery without having to eat cold food); it is also widely used for the sick and the elderly, Alzheimer's patients and many other people.
Google: "Eating slowly" and "Mindful eating" to learn by yourself; many serious sources are talking about the benefits.
Our mission is to make regular plates obsolete, bring the luxury of eating on hot plates to homes on a regular daily basis and hopefully contribute to a modification of eating habitsto prevent overeating and obesity with all its consequences
Our business was born as a result of a stroke -not of luck but a brain hemorrage- that made the founder/President abandon his career of many years in manufacturing

Being on a wheel chair for months with little coordination on the left side of the body I decided (I'm talking about myself of course and I'm doing a lot better now by the way) to invent something and being an Industrial Engineer, I optimized the design of the invention to a point that now it looks so simple that our claims seem too good to be true.
As I mentioned before we are a start up company with a revolutionary innovation that will impact the industry which up until now has been competing based on design (Colors, patterns and shapes). We are introducing a new functionality to the plates mugs, etc.
The invention has been mentioned in prestigious magazines such as Popular Science and inventor's Digest, and local newspapers and TV shows.
Our plates are already selling through Amazon.com; people love them despite the fact that they are not cheap (they are not mass produced yet).
A couple early problems have been corrected but we are disrupting the market and some people are not happy.
Let me state our goal again: We'll make current plates obsolete
